Allow me tell you a little bit about myself. I have a degree in natural sciences from the University of California Davis that includes studies in Earth and physical sciences, biology and and chemistry. I also earned a minor in education. In my free time I enjoy riding my bicycle, playing drums, hiking, and mountain climbing (see picture to the left). I also enjoy photography, in fact all the pictures on this site were taken by me during my time spent as a naturalist in Grand Teton National Park. In case you couldn't tell from the site, I am fascinated by the outdoors (and I love the color green) and I enjoy not only being in the outdoors but also learning about everything I see; plants, animals, rocks, and all the processes that connect them using my understanding of chemistry, physics, biology and geology. I hope to translate my own enthusiasm for these things into the classroom.
